About Knott's Cajun Kitchen

If ever in the charming town of Arnaudville, Louisiana, one place that truly captures the essence of Cajun culture is Knott's Cajun Kitchen. Nestled at 408 Market St, this unpretentious eatery offers more than just food; it serves up an experience, one brimming with soul, spice, and Southern hospitality.

The moment the door swings open, a warm whiff of spices greets visitors, instantly igniting the taste buds and setting the stage for a culinary journey. The hearty gumbo, with its rich, deep flavors, seems to be a crowd favorite. It's a bowl brimming with seafood, chicken, and sausage, all perfectly balanced with a roux that's been cooked to just the right shade of mahogany. Also not to be missed is the jambalaya. Each bite tells a story, seasoned with love and a hint of heat that lingers pleasantly.

Decorative simplicity defines the interior, with walls echoing histories of neighborhood gatherings, laughter, and tales of the bayou. Conversations flow as freely as the iced sweet tea—the perfect companion to the spicy delights served on the plate.

Knott's doesn’t just stop at the classics. The menu boasts an overture of modern twists on traditional dishes. Take, for example, the crawfish po’boy. This sandwich strikes a perfect balance of tenderness, spice, and crunch, delighting both first-timers and seasoned Cajun cuisine lovers. Similarly, the deep-fried boudin balls are a crunchy delight that make one wonder how something so simple could taste so incredible.

Locals seem to know they are onto something special with Knott's. The reviews echo this sentiment, replete with stories of satisfied appetites and cravings quelled. It's not just food—it’s an embrace from a culture that's stood the test of time.

Whether stepping in for a casual lunch or settling in for a lavish dinner spread, every visit to Knott's Cajun Kitchen promises familiarity and discovery in equal measure. One might find that even after the plates are clean, the memory of the meal lingers just like that last subtle hint of cayenne on the palate. So next time in Arnaudville, remember one thing: Southern comfort awaits on Market Street.

The food here is always affordable, hot, and delicious. Service is great and there is a decent bit of parking. The Cheeseburger is my favorite, and the Onion Rings are good, too. The Fried Chicken is very tasty and was served piping hot. The Chicken Burger has less meat in it than it used to,but it's still good. The Crab Burger is just ok.

I wrote this review in the wrong place, so here you go now! Excited to add drive-through daiquiris!!! Strawberry 🍓 is delicious with decent alcohol content. (add some little bottles from Guidry's 😉🤫) Let me repeat: Only drive through window for many miles. Where else can you get a juicy delicious spicy burger, a fried big ole shrimp burger and fresh onion rings for $22?!? 1st trip we called and ordered the Cajun Blaze and fried shrimp plate substituting onion rings for fries and we were impressed with how good and fresh it tasted. Today we ordered the Cajun Blaze and shrimp burger and onion rings and it was just as good. I love not having to get down to get good food! BBQ pork chop dinner is excellent. Friendly staff on the phone (we asked for special requests - no problem) and at the window. Very good prices for very good food and very convenient pick up.

My first visit here was to order boiled crawfish. I ordered to-go and it didn't take long at all for my order. The crawfish, potato & corn were all good. The customer service was good also.
